Hi I just found your blog and I love it! I have never known anyone who shared my love of positive thinking AND my passion for hip hop before, haha. I read your post about hip hop and i’m listening to “all the above” right now because of that post- it’s SO good and inspirational and awesome! i feel like it speaks to me because…well, a little about what brought me to your site. i’m a 21 year old girl college student and the past 9 months of my life have been a nightmare of mystery medical problems and endless doctors that charge me a total of thousands of dollars and can’t figure out what’s wrong with me. recently i FINALLY got a diagnosis of gallbladder problems but the treatment is really slow and i’m not sure if it’s working so i’m still struggling a lot with my outlook on life. i feel like my illness has been around so long that i feel like it’s part of me and i have to feel sick and not like myself forever. anyway, today i had an epiphany that my mental self talk around my illness has been making everything way harder for me. SO i google image searched “believe” because i wanted to find an image for my desktop to remind myself to believe in the possibility of being healthy again. and that’s how i found your blog!
anyway, the two most positive hip hop songs i can think of are
“ridin’ solo” by jason derulo- i find this to be a very inspiring, uplifting song even when i’m in a relationship- and “just fine” by mary j. blige. that song is so awesome, singing along with it is like saying one long affirmation, haha. here’s a link to the video:

    hope you like it! peace

    • OH Eva, so great to hear from you thank you for reaching out! I’m so happy that you found my blog and that it spoke to you. And I’m even more happy that at such a young age you are proactively looking into how you can get your mind right and teach yourself how to be positive and use the Law of Attraction.

You are sooooo right about your attitude actually affecting your physical health, they are ABSOLUTELY related. I’m not saying that mental attitude alone can make you “well” but it definitely can make you more sick. It can make you feel worse, our brain is a pretty powerful tool that affects us physically, the thoughts we think turn into our future reality so turning negative ones into positive ones definitely cant hurt right???

I love those song selection, and the others in that post. I listen to hip-hop all the time to lift up my mood. it really can change your mood.

      keep me posted! 🙂
